We have tried a few ways to launch Java applications from a CD that works well on both Windows, OSX, and sometimes Linux.
The sub pages document some of those ways, and outline new possibilities.

The main idea is to create an application that starts up when the CD is inserted, or can be run easily from the CD. This application provides links to run Java applications and has an interface for them. Typically this is done for a Concord Newsletter.
